I have been buying bags of 40lb water softener for years, lugging that in and out of my garage, and buying bottle water because we were only treating our water with salt pellets. I compared Kind Water Systems to other systems on the market and found the quality and price to be far more superior than other systems. With that said, I decided to put it to the test. First, the website is very user friendly and easy to navigate (5 stars), 2nd the customer service and their ability to answer all of my questions (and I had a lot) was amazing (5 stars). 3rd I received a shipping notification within 48 hours of purchasing the product on line (5 stars). 4th I received the product 48 hours later (so approximately 4 days from purchase) which is unheard of in this economy (5 stars). 5th – my plumber was able to install the new system and remove my ancient salt softener system in just a matter of a couple of hours (5 stars). And most importantly, our water flowing through our entire house is now perfect to drink and shower with (5 stars)! No more bottle water, no more 40lbs of water softener! Both my wife and daughter said they love the way it makes their hair feel when they shower too (10 stars). It also created more space in my garage since it mounts on the wall (see photo) (5 stars). I signed up for the automatic annual filter order service they offer because I’ll never remember to do that on my own (5 stars). This warranty covers all E-1000, E-2000, E-3000, and any future Kind Compact Whole-House Municipal systems to the original purchaser. Kind warrants to the original purchaser, and this warranty is not transferable. The system must be maintained in normal working conditions and does not cover natural disasters, improper installation, including broken manifolds caused by overtightening plumbing fittings, misuse, alterations or modifications, accidents, freezing, or acts of God (such as flood, earthquake, fire, hurricane, lightning, or other natural disasters). Kind Water Systems retains the right to void warranties that violate its warranty coverage.
Kind Water Systems’ ultraviolet water purification systems are warranted to the original user only to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the period specified below. This warranty only applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

Kind Water Systems’ liability under this warranty shall be limited to repairing or replacing the product, without charge, F.O.B. Kind Water Systems’ closest Distribution Facility. Kind Water Systems will not be liable for any costs of removal, installation, transportation, or other charges arising from a warranty claim. This warranty covers only manufacturer-supplied items that prove defective in material, workmanship, or factory preparation. This warranty covers parts only; all labor is excluded from this warranty, including, but not limited to, services related to the removal, replacement, installation, adjustment, maintenance, and/or repair of the unit or its components items. Excludes all non-manufacturer labor required for any unit servicing, including, but not limited to, servicing related to installation, movement, maintenance, and repair of the unit. This warranty applies only for the first full calendar year from the date of purchase. The following items are excluded from this warranty: membranes, filters, O-rings, and all other parts or components that require regular replacement due to ordinary usage. This warranty will be void for failure to observe the following conditions:
Do not use microbiologically unsafe water or water of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
The manufacturer does not know the characteristics of your water supply. The quality of water supplies may vary seasonally or over a period of time, and your water usage may also vary. Water characteristics can also change if the appliance is moved to a new location. The manufacturer assumes no liability for determining the proper equipment necessary to meet your requirements, and we do not authorize others to assume such obligation on our behalf.
This Limited Warranty does not cover manufacturer-supplied items that are defective due to improper parts, equipment, or materials. It also does not cover alterations or modifications to the unit or failure of a unit caused by such alterations and modifications.
This Limited Warranty does not cover malfunctions of the unit due to tampering, misuse, alteration, lack of regular maintenance, misapplication, fouling due to hydrogen sulfide, manganese, or iron, scaling from excessive hardness, turbidity greater than 1.0 NTU, Silt Density Index (SDI) greater than 5.0 SDI, or excessive membrane hydrolysis due to chlorine levels in excess of 1.0 mg/L (ppm). In addition, this warranty does not cover damage to the unit due to fire, accident, negligence, act of God, or events beyond the manufacturer’s control.
Incidental and Consequential Damages Limitation: The manufacturer will not be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages as a result of the failure of this unit to comply with express or implied warranties or any defect in the unit, including but not limited to, lost time, inconvenience, damage to personal property, loss of revenue, commercial losses, postage, travel, telephone expenditures, or other losses of this nature. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this exclusion may not apply to you.
Owner’s Warranty Responsibilities: As a condition of this Limited Warranty, the owner must ensure periodic maintenance of the system is performed as described in the literature enclosed with the system. Neglect, improper maintenance, abuse, modification, or alteration of the unit will invalidate this Warranty.
