All Kind Compact Whole-House Municipal systems have a Limited Lifetime Warranty from manufacturer defects. This warranty covers all E-1000, E-2000, E-3000, and any future Kind Compact Whole-House Municipal systems to the original purchaser. Kind warrants to the original purchaser, and this warranty is not transferable. The system must be maintained in normal working conditions and does not cover natural disasters, improper installation, including broken manifolds caused by overtightening plumbing fittings, misuse, alterations or modifications, accidents, freezing, or acts of God (such as flood, earthquake, fire, hurricane, lightning, or other natural disasters). Kind Water Systems retains the right to void warranties that violate its warranty coverage.
Kind Water Systems’ ultraviolet water purification systems are warranted to the original user only to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the period specified below. This warranty only applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
UV SYSTEMS: Ten (10) year Limited Warranty on the stainless-steel chamber from the original purchase date.
ELECTRONICS: Three (3) year Limited Warranty on the controllers from the original purchase date.

This Kind Water Systems Ultraviolet Disinfection System will be repaired or replaced, at our sole option, providing that the ultraviolet system or any component is defective in materials or workmanship for the periods outlined above and subject to the “Limitations of Warranty” as outlined below. Kind Water Systems’ liability under this warranty shall be limited to repairing or replacing the product, without charge, F.O.B. Kind Water Systems’ closest Distribution Facility. Kind Water Systems will not be liable for any costs of removal, installation, transportation, or other charges arising from a warranty claim. Kind Water Systems will not be liable for damage or wear to products caused by abnormal operating conditions, accidents, abuse, misuse, unauthorized alteration, or repair, or if the product was not installed per the manufacturer’s printed installation and operating instructions.

This warranty covers parts only; all labor is excluded from this warranty, including, but not limited to, services related to the removal, replacement, installation, adjustment, maintenance, and/or repair of the unit or its components items. Excludes all non-manufacturer labor required for any unit servicing, including, but not limited to, servicing related to installation, movement, maintenance, and repair of the unit. This warranty applies only for the first full calendar year from the date of purchase. The following items are excluded from this warranty: membranes, filters, O-rings, and all other parts or components that require regular replacement due to ordinary usage. This warranty will be void for failure to observe the following conditions:
Do not use microbiologically unsafe water or water of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
The manufacturer does not know the characteristics of your water supply. The quality of water supplies may vary seasonally or over a period of time, and your water usage may also vary. Water characteristics can also change if the appliance is moved to a new location. The manufacturer assumes no liability for determining the proper equipment necessary to meet your requirements, and we do not authorize others to assume such obligation on our behalf.
This Limited Warranty does not cover manufacturer-supplied items that are defective due to improper parts, equipment, or materials. It also does not cover alterations or modifications to the unit or failure of a unit caused by such alterations and modifications.
This Limited Warranty does not cover malfunctions of the unit due to tampering, misuse, alteration, lack of regular maintenance, misapplication, fouling due to hydrogen sulfide, manganese, or iron, scaling from excessive hardness, turbidity greater than 1.0 NTU, Silt Density Index (SDI) greater than 5.0 SDI, or excessive membrane hydrolysis due to chlorine levels in excess of 1.0 mg/L (ppm). In addition, this warranty does not cover damage to the unit due to fire, accident, negligence, act of God, or events beyond the manufacturer’s control.
Incidental and Consequential Damages Limitation: The manufacturer will not be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages as a result of the failure of this unit to comply with express or implied warranties or any defect in the unit, including but not limited to, lost time, inconvenience, damage to personal property, loss of revenue, commercial losses, postage, travel, telephone expenditures, or other losses of this nature. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this exclusion may not apply to you.
Owner’s Warranty Responsibilities: As a condition of this Limited Warranty, the owner must ensure periodic maintenance of the system is performed as described in the literature enclosed with the system. Neglect, improper maintenance, abuse, modification, or alteration of the unit will invalidate this Warranty. Should your unit develop a defect or otherwise fail to perform in accordance with this warranty, you should contact the retailer from whom the product was originally purchased.
Implied Warranties: The implied at-law warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose shall terminate on the date one year after the date of purchase. Note: some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

You have 120 calendar days to return a product, which begins on the day your order is placed. All returns require authorization from Kind Water Systems before shipping. If unsatisfied within the 120-day timeframe, contact Kind Water Systems’ Customer Service Department and request a Return Authorization Code by calling 888-614-5559 or filling out our contact form.
Please ensure that the product you are returning is repackaged with the original box, all the items/products, and documentation that was included when you received it. Clearly label the Return Authorization Code on the outside of the package. Kind Water Systems will not accept unauthorized returns. Kind Water Systems must receive your return within 21 calendar days of generating the RAC number. For authorized returns, Kind Water Systems will initiate a full refund (purchase price excluding shipping and handling, if applicable) when the product is received at Kind Water Systems. eSoft Salt-Free Technology works through a Physical Alteration process called Template Assisted Crystallization (TAC). In template-assisted crystallization, water flows through a cartridge with eSoft media. This media consists of tiny polymer beads called “Carbonate Crystal Structures” These carbonate crystal structures act as templates to form micro-crystals. Once hard water comes into contact with the eSoft media, the calcium and magnesium ions are intercepted by the nucleation sites. As more calcium and magnesium ions build-up, small calcium and magnesium micro-crystals form. It took me a bit to get it installed but that was my fault the system is giving me vast improvements on my water quality, I was having a lot of lime scale build up and the results are almost all of the build up is gone in a month of use . I’ve been recommending to everyone that has been considering a water softener.
Swapped out old salt softener for the E-3000 filter and salt free softener which Kind claims is the best of both worlds, and it actually is! I immediately noticed a big difference in my water quality.
