 Frequently Asked Questions

What is the free in-home water test?

A Kind Water specialist comes to your home, tests your water on the spot, and walks you through what’s in it. You’ll get a clear picture of your water quality and a recommendation for the right system, with no cost and no obligation.

Where do you offer in-home consultations?

We currently serve Central Florida, including Volusia, Flagler, Seminole, Orange, Brevard, and Lake counties. If your ZIP code starts with 321, 327, 328, or 329, you’re likely in our area.

How long does the visit take?

Most consultations take about 30 minutes. That covers the water test, a review of your results, and time for your questions.

Are you a dealer or a third-party installer?

No. Kind Water is a local Daytona Beach company, and our in-home team works directly for us. You’re buying factory-direct, so there are no dealer markups.

Do I have to buy anything?

Not at all. The test and consultation are free. If a system makes sense for your home, we’ll show you options and pricing. If not, you still walk away knowing exactly what’s in your water.

What systems do you offer?

Our E-Series whole house systems cover filtration, salt-free conditioning, or both, with UV options available. All are sized for homes with 1 to 5 bathrooms. We also offer reverse osmosis for drinking water, a salt-based softener, and systems designed for well water.

What’s the difference between a softener and a salt-free conditioner?

A salt-based softener removes hardness minerals using salt. A salt-free conditioner changes how those minerals behave so they’re less likely to form scale, without salt, brine, or wastewater. Your specialist will help you decide which fits your water and preferences.

Will filtered water help my skin and hair?

Many customers notice a difference because our carbon block filtration reduces chlorine, which can be drying to skin and hair. Systems with carbon block filtration (like the E-1000 and E-3000) provide this benefit.

How soon can my system be installed, and who does it?

A licensed and insured local plumber handles your installation, usually the next day, or whenever works best for you. We leave the system with you at the end of your visit, so it’s ready to go when the plumber arrives.

What does maintenance look like after installation?

Filters need periodic replacement depending on your system and water usage. Replacement filter subscriptions run roughly $35 to $400 per year, depending on the system, and our water experts are available at (888) 230-KIND (Mon-Fri 9am-8pm ET, Sat 9am-5pm ET) if you ever need help.
