Warranty Coverage

General Warranty Terms (Applies to All Products)

  • Original Purchaser Only – This warranty is provided exclusively to the original purchaser named on the sales receipt. It is non-transferable and does not extend to any subsequent owner, transferee, or recipient of the product through resale, gift, trade, or any other means.
  • Authorized Purchase Channels – Products must be purchased directly from our official website or an authorized reseller. Purchases from unauthorized sources, including third-party marketplace sellers not listed as authorized, are not covered.
  • Proof of Purchase Required – All warranty claims require proof of purchase.
  • Exclusions Apply – Warranties do not cover damage from improper installation, misuse, natural disasters, or operation outside the manufacturer’s specifications.

 

Compact Whole-House Municipal Systems

Models Covered: E-1000, E-2000, E-3000, and future Kind Compact Whole-House Municipal systems.

Coverage: Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturer defects.

Exclusions:

  • Natural disasters, improper installation, overtightened fittings, misuse, alterations, freezing, or acts of God.
  • Kind reserves the right to void coverage for warranty violations.

 

Ultraviolet (UV) Water Purification Systems

Coverage

  • Stainless Steel Chamber – 10 Years
  • Controllers – 3 Years
  • UV Lamps & Quartz Sleeves – 1 Year

Limitations

Warranty void if water quality exceeds limits (e.g., hardness > 120 mg/L, UVT < 75%), incorrect installation, use of non-original parts, outdoor installation without protection, freezing, or exposure to conditions beyond specifications.

Service Process:

Contact Kind Water Systems for a Warranty Return Authorization. Proof of purchase, installation date, and supporting data are required. Customer is responsible for freight to return the product.

 

6-Stage Reverse Osmosis (RO) Drinking Water Systems

Coverage: 1-year Limited Warranty on manufacturer-supplied parts (labor excluded).

Exclusions: Membranes, filters, O-rings, and consumable components.

Conditions for Coverage:

  • Use with potable municipal or treated well water.
  • Operating pressure: 40–80 PSI.
  • Temperature: 40°F–100°F.
  • TDS: < 2,000 mg/L.
  • Chlorine: ≤ 1.0 mg/L.
  • Turbidity: < 1.0 NTU; SDI < 5.
  • Free of iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfide.

Warranty void if used outside these conditions, improperly maintained, or damaged by misuse, alterations, fire, flooding, freezing, or acts of God.

 

Full Size Whole-House Filters, Softeners, Conditioners, Combo Units & Specialty Filters

Coverage (Original Purchaser, Single-Family Home Use):

  • Mineral Tank – 10 Years
  • Proprietary Control Valves – 7 Years
  • Other Control Valves – 5 Years
  • Brine Tank – 5 Years
  • Accessories & Parts – 1 Year
  • Brine Tank Components – 1 Year

Exclusions:

Improper installation, defects caused by water quality, freezing, misuse, neglect, operation outside specified pressure/temperature limits, sediment buildup, and any damage from environmental conditions.

 

General Warranty Limitations

  • No labor, removal, installation, or service costs are covered.
  • Remedies are limited to repair or replacement of defective parts or products.
  • No incidental or consequential damages are covered, including property damage, loss of profits, downtime, or third-party claims.
  • Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusions of incidental/consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.
  • These warranties are provided in lieu of all other express warranties.
  • Use of a city system on a well water source, or a well system on a city water source, voids the warranty.
  • Failure to replace filters annually in accordance with manufacturer recommendations voids the warranty.

Kind Water stands behind the quality of its water filtration products when used and installed in accordance with provided guidelines. However, all product warranties—whether express or implied—are strictly limited to defects in the materials Kind Water Supplies under normal and intended use.

Kind Water is not responsible or liable for any claims, damages, malfunctions, or performance issues arising out of, or related to:

  • Improper installation
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Failure to follow product instructions
  • Use of the product in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose.

Any damage or issues resulting from incorrect or unqualified installation, misuse, negligence, or failure to maintain the product properly are expressly excluded from warranty coverage and from any claims of liability.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kind Water disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall Kind Water be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

 

Kind AutoShip Policy

If you are enrolled in our Autoship Program, the price you pay for each shipment will be the price in effect at the time the order is processed for shipment.  We may change our prices at any time, in our sole discretion, including between autoship cycles, to reflect changes in product costs, materials, or market conditions. Any price changes will be reflected in your upcoming order, and you will receive notice of the new price before your next scheduled shipment. Your continued participation in the Autoship Program after receiving such notice constitutes your acceptance of the price change.  By enrolling in the Autoship Program, you authorize us to automatically charge your designated payment method for each shipment at the price then in effect, including any applicable taxes, shipping charges, or price adjustments, unless you cancel prior to the processing of the next shipment.

 

Return Policy

You have 120 calendar days from the date your order is placed to return a product.
