The E3000 is a whole-house filtration and salt-free softening system designed for City Water to improve water quality for your entire home and provide better than bottle quality water from every tap. It reduces chlorine, sediment, and other impurities while protecting your plumbing and appliances from scale buildup.

Does the E-3000 soften water?

The salt-free system uses Template Assisted Crystallization (TAC) to condition the water, preventing scale buildup without adding salt. Unlike a salt-based system systems that chemically removes minerals such as calcium and magnesium, the ESOFT® system retains beneficial minerals, hence some minor evaporative deposits may still occur.

There is no maintenance such as heavy and costly bags of salt and no waste water or brine discharge which has caused salt-based systems to be banned or restricted in several states or municipalities in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Michigan Minnesota, New Mexico, Texas and Wisconsin.

How long do the filters last and what maintenance does the system require?

Regular filter changes (every 6-12 months depending on your water quality) is the only main maintenance task required for E-3000. Filter replacement is very easy and only takes a few minutes, you do not need a plumber for these tasks. E-3000 Replacement
