It reduces chlorine, sediment, and other impurities while protecting your plumbing and appliances from scale buildup. The UV system sterilizes pathogens such as bacteria and viruses, thereby offering an additional layer of protection for you and your loved ones.

Does the E3000UV soften water?

The salt-free system uses Template Assisted Crystallization (TAC) to condition the water, preventing scale buildup without adding salt. Unlike a salt-based system systems that chemically removes minerals such as calcium and magnesium, the ESOFT® system retains beneficial minerals, hence some minor evaporative deposits may still occur.

There is no maintenance such as heavy and costly bags of salt and no waste water or brine discharge which has caused salt-based systems to be banned or restricted in several states or municipalities in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Michigan Minnesota, New Mexico, Texas and Wisconsin.

How long do the filters last and what maintenance does the system require?

Regular filter changes (every 6-12 months depending on your water quality) and UV lamp/sleeve replacement (once a year) are only main maintenance tasks required for E3000UV. Both filter and lamp changes are very easy and only take a few minutes, you do not need a plumber for these tasks.

Will it improve taste/odor of my water?
