"We have struggled with hard water for many years, a few months ago we lost our heating unit due to hard water. This unit was a good fit as we had limited real estate to work with, and no additional power. after 3 weeks we are starting to see the old hard water deposits dissipating."
"Easy to install, but would be easier to install if instructions included a list of parts you need when using PEX. The amount of residue/scale left by the water is greatly reduced, which was my main reason for choosing this system. The unit itself is well made and a practical design. Be careful when tightening the canister after installing the cartridges. There is a fine line between too tight and not quite tight enough."
"Only been installed for a 2 week period. Not ready to pass judgement on it yet !"
"Great filter. Looks and feels solid. I see a huge improvement"
"Excellent system. Easy to install and works noticeably well."
"We are very pleased with our salt free water softener"
"Received it within a few days of the order. My plumber had it installed within a week. He has installed several in the past. It operates perfectly and no more handling 40# of salt! Very satisfied with Kind’s product and being able to buy direct and save money!"
"Installed my 2000 system 3 months ago and so far so good. We have moderate hard water and have noticed some small change. System is easy maintain and swaping replacement filters is straight forward. Call and talk with a rep. They have been very helpful with all questions."
"I purchased this for the small size. It fits behind a door in the finished basement with only 8 to 10 inches of space available for depth. After 4 months of use with city water, there are no visible mineral deposits observed in dishwasher, faucets are working well after cartridges were replaced after the Kind system as installed. Highly recommended."
"First impression, is good, installation was easy. The first day, I can feel a difference from our old salt system. Time will tell how it performs long term."
The E2000 is a whole-house salt-free softening system. It reduces sediment while protecting your plumbing and appliances from scale buildup.
E2000 Component Certifications
NSF/ ANSI - 61 (Drinking water safety)
NSF/ANSI - 372 (Lead free)
The salt-free system uses Template Assisted Crystallization (TAC) to condition the water, preventing scale buildup without adding salt. Unlike a salt-based system systems that chemically removes minerals such as calcium and magnesium, the ESOFT® system retains beneficial minerals, hence some minor evaporative deposits may still occur.
There is no maintenance such as heavy and costly bags of salt and no waste water or brine discharge which has caused salt-based systems to be banned or restricted in several states or municipalities in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Michigan Minnesota, New Mexico, Texas and Wisconsin.
Regular filter changes (every 6-12 months depending on your water quality) is the only main maintenance task required for E-2000. Filter replacement is very easy and only takes a few minutes, you do not need a plumber for these tasks. E-2000 Replacement
