I have been buying bags of 40lb water softener for years, lugging that in and out of my garage, and buying bottle water because we were only treating our water with salt pellets. First, the website is very user friendly and easy to navigate (5 stars), 2nd the customer service and their ability to answer all of my questions (and I had a lot) was amazing (5 stars). 3rd I received a shipping notification within 48 hours of purchasing the product on line (5 stars). 4th I received the product 48 hours later (so approximately 4 days from purchase) which is unheard of in this economy (5 stars). 5th – my plumber was able to install the new system and remove my ancient salt softener system in just a matter of a couple of hours (5 stars). And most importantly, our water flowing through our entire house is now perfect to drink and shower with (5 stars)! No more bottle water, no more 40lbs of water softener! Both my wife and daughter said they love the way it makes their hair feel when they shower too (10 stars). It also created more space in my garage since it mounts on the wall (see photo) (5 stars). I signed up for the automatic annual filter order service they offer because I’ll never remember to do that on my own (5 stars). I do not normally leave Google reviews but felt compelled to with this product. I’d probably give it more than 5 stars if I could! I hope the company produces one for RV’s next! Kind warrants to the original purchaser, and this warranty is not transferable. The system must be maintained in normal working conditions and does not cover natural disasters, improper installation, including broken manifolds caused by overtightening plumbing fittings, misuse, alterations or modifications, accidents, freezing, or acts of God (such as flood, earthquake, fire, hurricane, lightning, or other natural disasters). Kind Water Systems retains the right to void warranties that violate its warranty coverage.

The manufacturer does not know the characteristics of your water supply. The quality of water supplies may vary seasonally or over a period of time, and your water usage may also vary. Water characteristics can also change if the appliance is moved to a new location. The manufacturer assumes no liability for determining the proper equipment necessary to meet your requirements, and we do not authorize others to assume such obligation on our behalf.
This Limited Warranty does not cover manufacturer-supplied items that are defective due to improper parts, equipment, or materials. It also does not cover alterations or modifications to the unit or failure of a unit caused by such alterations and modifications.
This Limited Warranty does not cover malfunctions of the unit due to tampering, misuse, alteration, lack of regular maintenance, misapplication, fouling due to hydrogen sulfide, manganese, or iron, scaling from excessive hardness, turbidity greater than 1.0 NTU, Silt Density Index (SDI) greater than 5.0 SDI, or excessive membrane hydrolysis due to chlorine levels in excess of 1.0 mg/L (ppm). In addition, this warranty does not cover damage to the unit due to fire, accident, negligence, act of God, or events beyond the manufacturer’s control.
Incidental and Consequential Damages Limitation: The manufacturer will not be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages as a result of the failure of this unit to comply with express or implied warranties or any defect in the unit, including but not limited to, lost time, inconvenience, damage to personal property, loss of revenue, commercial losses, postage, travel, telephone expenditures, or other losses of this nature. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this exclusion may not apply to you.
Owner’s Warranty Responsibilities: As a condition of this Limited Warranty, the owner must ensure periodic maintenance of the system is performed as described in the literature enclosed with the system. Neglect, improper maintenance, abuse, modification, or alteration of the unit will invalidate this Warranty. Should your unit develop a defect or otherwise fail to perform in accordance with this warranty, you should contact the retailer from whom the product was originally purchased.
Implied Warranties: The implied at-law warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose shall terminate on the date one year after the date of purchase. Note: some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

*FOR AS LONG AS YOU OWN AND LIVE IN YOUR SINGLE-FAMILY HOME, this warranty covers your water treatment equipment if you are the first user of this Kind Water Systems equipment and purchased it for single-family home use – subject to all of the conditions, limitations, and exclusions listed below. Purchasers who buy the Kind Water Systems equipment for other purposes and other component parts are subject to more limited warranties and should read all of the terms in this document to ensure they understand the warranty.
What is covered by this warranty? Kind Water Systems warrants that at the time of manufacture, the water treatment equipment shall be free from defects in material and workmanship as follows:

Limitations of Remedies: The remedies contained in this warranty are the purchaser’s exclusive remedies. In no circumstances will Kind Water Systems be liable for more than, and purchaser-user’s remedies shall not exceed, the price paid for the product. In no case shall Kind Water Systems be liable for any special, incidental, contingent, or consequential damages. Special, incidental, contingent, and consequential damages for which Kind Water Systems is not liable include but are not limited to, inconvenience, loss or damage to property, consequential mold damage, loss of profits, loss of savings or revenue, loss of use of the products or any associated equipment, facilities, buildings or services, downtime, and the claims of third parties including customers. Some states do not allow the exclusion or the limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply to you.
You have 120 calendar days to return a product, which begins on the day your order is placed. All returns require authorization from Kind Water Systems before shipping. If unsatisfied within the 120-day timeframe, contact Kind Water Systems’ Customer Service Department and request a Return Authorization Code by calling 888-614-5559 or filling out our contact form.
Please ensure that the product you are returning is repackaged with the original box, all the items/products, and documentation that was included when you received it. Clearly label the Return Authorization Code on the outside of the package. Kind Water Systems will not accept unauthorized returns. Kind Water Systems must receive your return within 21 calendar days of generating the RAC number. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs on all products and insuring the product during return shipping. For all returned products, you may use the carrier of your choice. For authorized returns, Kind Water Systems will initiate a full refund (purchase price excluding shipping and handling, if applicable) when the product is received at Kind Water Systems. The package will be inspected to confirm that everything is included with the product. Your refund will be initiated according to the order’s original payment type(s). Replacing the carbon media on a traditional tank-style water filter system is difficult and often requires a plumber. The big tanks weigh hundreds of pounds and removing the loose granular carbon can be a chore even for the fittest of people. Then once you have removed the expired loose carbon media, you have to pour in a heavy bag of replacement carbon wearing a mask and following the instructions carefully. I have been buying bags of 40lb water softener for years, lugging that in and out of my garage, and buying bottle water because we were only treating our water with salt pellets. I compared Kind Water Systems to other systems on the market and found the quality and price to be far more superior than other systems. With that said, I decided to put it to the test. First, the website is very user friendly and easy to navigate (5 stars), 2nd the customer service and their ability to answer all of my questions (and I had a lot) was amazing (5 stars). 3rd I received a shipping notification within 48 hours of purchasing the product on line (5 stars). 4th I received the product 48 hours later (so approximately 4 days from purchase) which is unheard of in this economy (5 stars). 5th – my plumber was able to install the new system and remove my ancient salt softener system in just a matter of a couple of hours (5 stars). And most importantly, our water flowing through our entire house is now perfect to drink and shower with (5 stars)! No more bottle water, no more 40lbs of water softener! Both my wife and daughter said they love the way it makes their hair feel when they shower too (10 stars). It also created more space in my garage since it mounts on the wall (see photo) (5 stars). I signed up for the automatic annual filter order service they offer because I’ll never remember to do that on my own (5 stars). I do not normally leave Google reviews but felt compelled to with this product. I’d probably give it more than 5 stars if I could! I hope the company produces one for RV’s next!
