Calcite Media Refill for Smart Metered pH Neutralizing Filter

This replacement calcite media is designed for use in the Kind Water Smart Metered pH Neutralizing Filter (WS-PHN) to maintain proper water pH and protect plumbing from acidic water.

Calcite is a naturally occurring form of calcium carbonate that dissolves gradually in acidic water, raising the pH toward neutral levels. Maintaining proper pH helps prevent corrosion of plumbing, fixtures, and appliances while improving the overall stability of your home’s water treatment system.

Over time, calcite media dissolves and must be replenished to maintain effective pH correction. Most systems will require a simple top-off every 6–12 months, depending on water usage and acidity levels. A full media replacement is typically recommended every 1–2 years.

For best performance, check the media level periodically and refill when the tank is no longer full. Keeping the calcite at the proper level ensures consistent pH correction and long-term system reliability.

This high-purity calcite media is engineered specifically for Kind Water Smart Metered pH Neutralizing Filter and is compatible with standard 10" × 44" neutralizer tanks using approximately 1 cubic foot of media. Each bag contains 0.5 cubic feet, allowing for convenient top-offs or full replacements as needed.
